What WireFlow is

WireFlow is a planning and documentation platform for AV, live production, LED, broadcast, and technical event workflows. It helps you map equipment, signal flow, racks, LED walls, wiring paths, and show-day documentation before your crew arrives on site.

Instead of building every drawing from scratch in a traditional CAD tool, WireFlow gives production teams a faster way to create practical, crew-ready documentation for real-world setups.

What you build in WireFlow

WireFlow is built for preproduction and documentation, not for running a show from the truck. Think: the packet your video engineer, A1, and LED tech actually want before they walk into the venue.

• Diagram Builder — cameras, switchers, playback, encoders, audio consoles, network gear, and displays wired port-to-port
• Rack Builder — flypack and rack elevations with front/rear views and internal patch documentation
• LED Wall Builder — cabinet count, physical size, pixel resolution, processor paths, and power planning
• Pixel Map — map content layers to LED cabinets for processors like Resolume
• Wiring Plans — cable schedules and port-to-port labels crews can follow on site
• Share links and exports — send view-only documentation to freelancers, venue staff, or clients

How it differs from generic diagram tools

Generic diagram apps let you draw boxes and lines. WireFlow understands AV ports — SDI, HDMI, Dante, AES, network, power — and warns when connections do not match.

WireFlow is not a replacement for full CAD or venue drafting for architectural floor plans. It is the faster, show-focused layer: signal paths, rack faceplates, and LED data paths that change every gig.

Tip: If you already live in Visio or Lucidchart for org charts, keep those. Use WireFlow where port compatibility and show-specific builders save hours.

Typical show workflow inside WireFlow

• Start with a signal-flow diagram for the core video/audio path
• Build rack elevations for FOH, video, or comms racks
• Lay out the LED wall and validate processor/port limits
• Generate wiring plans and cable labels from the same data
• Export PNG/PDF tech packs or share read-only links before show day

Best practices

Name projects after the show, client, or venue plus date so your dashboard stays searchable six months later.

Treat WireFlow as the source of truth during prep — when something changes on site, update the project and re-share rather than keeping a parallel spreadsheet.

• Do my crew need accounts to view a share link? No — view-only links work without signing in.
