Versioning suggestions

Lightweight revision control without a full PLM system — rev numbers, changelogs, and archive habits.

When to use this

Use on shows with client change orders or multi-week prep cycles.

Simple versioning

Rev in project name or export filename (Rev1, Rev2-post-site-survey).
Note changes in diagram header label or project description.
Re-share link after save — recipients refresh for latest (or send new PDF if frozen).

Change log habit

Date + author + summary in project notes: "2026-05-01 — added CAM-4, moved playback PC"
Helps when three engineers touch the same gig

Archive

After strike, duplicate as-built to "Archive — Client — 2026" and stop sharing production link.

Do not delete — tour templates come from last year's archive.
