Build your first LED wall

Hands-on: dashboard → new wall project → Add Zone → cabinet preset → columns × rows → save. Requires Pro or wall-only plan.

When to use this

Follow when sizing a rental or install wall — cabinet count, physical dimensions, and resolution — before cabinets hit the deck.

Access

LED Wall Builder requires WireFlow Pro, Team, or an active wall-only subscription. The header shows an LED Wall Builder badge on Pro accounts.

Create a wall project

  1. /diagrams → LED Walls tab → New
  2. LED Wall Builder opens on the Layout tab with Wall Zones

Add a zone and cabinet

  1. Wall Zones section → Add Zone
  2. Name the zone — e.g. Main Wall or IMAG Screen
  3. Choose a cabinet preset from the cabinet selector (pixel pitch and panel size mm)
  4. Set Columns and Rows — WireFlow calculates cabinet count, wall size, and resolution in the zone stats bar

Tip: Start with one zone per physical wall segment. Mixed cabinet sizes use row/column groups later — keep the first wall simple.

Review dimensions

  1. Check Cabinets, Resolution, and Wall Size stats under the zone card
  2. Compare physical width/height (m and ft) against your stage plot or trim height
  3. Adjust columns/rows or pick a different cabinet preset if the wall does not fit

Save

  1. Header → Save Project on first save, then Update Project for later edits
  2. Chevron on Save → Save as New to duplicate the project without overwriting the original
  3. Mobile: More actions (⋯) → Save as New

Share (optional)

  1. Header → Share — view-only link for LED techs
  2. Save before sharing if prompted

Next steps

  • Wiring Plan tab — data paths, processor outputs, and power runs
  • Pixel Map tab — content mapping; Send to Pixel Map from a zone when ready
  • Add to Diagram — place wall zones on a signal-flow diagram site map

Best practices

  • Share final pixel resolution with graphics before they author content
  • Document processor model and brightness % in the project — power stats derate with brightness
  • Export Pack List (CSV) from the header menu for panel and cable procurement

Common issues

  • LED Walls tab empty or gated — confirm Pro or wall-only plan on Billing
  • Cabinet compatibility warning — mixed sizes must be integer multiples; adjust row/column groups or pick matching presets
  • Stats look wrong after a edit — save and refresh; verify excluded/missing panel cells in the grid editor
