Image upload and save issues

Fix failed floor plans, device PNGs, storage quota errors, and diagrams that will not save.

When to use this

Start here when upload spinner fails or save returns an error toast.

Upload failures

Check file size — max 10 MB per image.
Use PNG, JPG, or WebP — avoid exotic formats.
Check total storage quota (Free 100 MB, Pro 5 GB) — delete old uploads if full.
Check per-project image count limits (10 per diagram/rack/wall).
Large pasted screenshots embedded in canvas may exceed JSON size limits — upload as file instead.

Underlay / floor plan issues

Image uploads but does not appear — wait for save then refresh.
Wrong scale — re-adjust underlay transform controls.
Blurry — source resolution too low; upload higher-quality plan.

Cannot save diagram

Confirm you are signed in — session may have expired.
View-only diagram — upgrade or swap editable slots on free tier.
Network offline — WireFlow requires connection to save cloud projects.
Oversized canvas state — reduce embedded images or split project.
