Underlay and floor plan issues

When to use this

Use when the site map or floor plan layer behaves unexpectedly.

Alignment

• Use rotation in 90° steps when plan north does not match canvas.
• Pick two known points (column grid, stage edge) and align devices to those after scaling.
• Lock underlay edit mode off when drawing zones so you do not drag the plan accidentally.

Visibility

• Reduce underlay opacity if ports are hard to read.
• Hide underlay temporarily when exporting diagram-only deliverables.

Performance

Very large floor plan PNGs slow pan/zoom — resize source to reasonable pixel dimensions before upload.
