What the Rack Builder is for
Document flypack and rack elevations — gear placement, rack units, front/rear faceplates, and internal patching for installers and road crew.
When to use this
Read before building your first rack project — especially if you only used WireFlow diagrams.
Purpose
Rack Builder produces crew-ready rack drawings: which piece lives in which rack unit, how faceplates look from front and rear, and how internal jumpers connect.
Use it for broadcast flypacks, install racks, FOH video racks, and comms closets — anywhere vertical rack space matters.
Pro feature
Rack Builder requires WireFlow Pro (or Team). Diagram Builder on Free can still reference rack concepts; full rack editing is a paid builder.
Typical outputs
- Front and/or rear elevation exports for road cases
- Patch documentation tied to rack device ports
- Presentation/clean display mode for client-facing drawings
- Share links so rack techs view without an account
