Creating a wall layout
Cabinet presets, grid size, physical dimensions, and building the tile map.
When to use this
Follow when starting a new wall project from sales dimensions or venue sight lines.
Step-by-step
- Create a new LED wall project from the dashboard.
- Choose or define a cabinet preset (size mm, pixel pitch, pixels per tile).
- Set columns and rows — WireFlow calculates cabinet count and overall dimensions.
- Review physical width/height against stage plot or trim dimensions.
- Adjust for ground row, curve (if supported), or missing corners with notes.
- Save the project.
Cabinet basics
Cabinets are the modular tiles that make up the wall — commonly 500×500 mm or 500×1000 mm in rental stock.
Pixel pitch (e.g. 2.6 mm, 3.9 mm) determines viewing distance and total pixel count.
