Real shortcuts from WireFlow builders — canvas navigation, diagram editing, rack patch, and LED wall tabs. Press ? in any builder to open the live list.

When to use this

Keep this open while learning Diagram Builder, Rack Builder, or LED Wall Builder. Every builder exposes the same shortcuts via ? — this page summarizes them by surface.

Canvas navigation (all builders with a canvas)

  • Drag empty canvas — pan
  • Scroll — pan vertically; Shift + scroll — pan horizontally
  • Ctrl/Cmd + scroll (or pinch on trackpad) — zoom at cursor
  • Space + drag — pan (hand tool); Middle mouse + drag — pan
  • F — fit canvas to content; 1 — reset zoom to 100%; Ctrl/Cmd + 0 — fit canvas to viewport

Wiring Diagram Editor — devices

  • Click device — select; Shift + click — add to selection; Ctrl/Cmd + drag empty — box select
  • Drag device header — move; Drag right edge — resize width
  • Double-click header — edit instance alias (custom name)
  • Right-click device — alias, Local Edit, Flip Port Sides, colors, duplicate, delete
  • Delete / Backspace — remove selection; Ctrl/Cmd + D — duplicate; Ctrl/Cmd + C / X / V — copy, cut, paste

Wiring Diagram Editor — ports and cables

  • Click port — start or finish a connection; Shift + click port — force-connect mismatched types
  • Double-click port name — edit signal label
  • Click wire — delete connection; Ctrl/Cmd + click wire — add routing waypoint
  • Escape — cancel in-progress connection

Wiring Diagram Editor — general

  • Ctrl/Cmd + Z — undo; Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Z or Ctrl/Cmd + Y — redo
  • Ctrl/Cmd + S — save diagram
  • ? — open shortcut list for this editor

Wiring Diagram Editor — site map zones

  • On the site map canvas: Ctrl/Cmd + C / X / V — copy, cut, paste selected zone
  • Delete / Backspace — remove selected zone

Rack Builder

  • [ — toggle device library drawer; ] — toggle utilities panel (Port Lab / shortcuts)
  • Front / Rear / Both — switch rack face view (toolbar tabs)
  • Patch mode + click port — start or complete internal patch
  • Ctrl/Cmd + click cable — add patch waypoint; Escape — cancel patch / arrange
  • A — enter port arrange on hovered device; Arrow keys — nudge ports in arrange mode
  • ? — open rack shortcut list

LED Wall Builder — Layout tab

  • Add Zone — new wall section; Columns / rows — grid size; Cabinet selector — panel model per zone
  • Send to Pixel Map — push zone slice to Pixel Map tab
  • Save / Update Project — save layout, wiring, and pixel map together
  • ? — open LED Wall shortcut list (Wiring Plan and Pixel Map tabs have their own lists)

LED Wall · Wiring Plan tab

  • Data / Power / Receive card buttons — drawing modes
  • Click + drag cabinets — draw a path; Spacebar or End Path — commit route
  • Copy / Paste on zone — copy wiring between zones

Best practices

Learn Space + drag and Ctrl/Cmd + scroll first — they save the most time on large diagrams.

Use ? in the builder you are in — shortcut catalogs are editor-specific and stay aligned with the product.
