Front and rear views

When to use this

Use when rear I/O differs from front — common on switchers, routers, and servers.

View modes

• Front elevation — what you see opening the front door of the case.
• Rear elevation — power cords, fan side, rear SDI, and network trunk.
• Both — side-by-side or combined export depending on display mode settings.

Front/rear ports

• Ports can be assigned to front, rear, or side face.
• Mirror front → rear helps when connectors align — adjust individually when they do not.
• Internal connections only draw on a face when both endpoints resolve there; cross-face links may omit from a single-face export by design.

Best practices

Document rear power first — installers need PDU outlet mapping before signal patching.
