Free vs Pro overview

What you get on Free, what Pro unlocks, how the 7-day trial works, and what happens when a trial ends.

When to use this

Read before upgrading, before starting a Pro trial, or when a crew member asks why Rack Builder is locked.

Free plan — good for learning and small gigs

  • Up to 3 editable diagrams at a time

  • 1 active shared diagram link (read-only)

Tip: Diagrams beyond your editable limit stay saved in view-only mode — nothing is deleted when a trial ends.

  • Unlimited editable diagrams and custom devices
  • LED Wall Builder and Rack Builder
  • Gear lists and cable schedule / wiring plan exports
  • Tech pack PDF exports
  • Unlimited crew share links
  • PNG export without watermark
  • Community device library (publish and browse templates)

7-day Pro trial

New subscribers can start a 7-day trial with a card on file. During trial you get full Pro feature access with up to 10 editable diagrams.

If you cancel before day 8, you are not charged. If the trial ends without converting, you choose 3 diagrams to keep editing; the rest remain visible in view-only mode.

Team plan (optional)

Team adds shared workspace, multiple seats, and collaboration features (some in early access). Everything in Pro is included per seat.

When to upgrade

  • You need more than 3 active editable diagrams
  • You are documenting a rack or LED wall for a paying gig
  • You need more than one share link out to crew simultaneously
  • You want clean exports without watermark for client deliverables

Common issues

  • "My diagram is view-only" — you hit the free editable slot limit; upgrade or swap which 3 diagrams stay editable.
  • "Rack Builder is locked" — Pro feature; start trial or upgrade from Billing.
  • Promotional or beta Pro access is separate from paid billing — see Beta and promotional access.
