Cable labels and schedules
Naming conventions, schedule columns, and printing labels that match the diagram.
When to use this
Use during shop prep when printing labels before the truck packs.
Label conventions
- Match label text to wiring plan source/dest columns exactly.
- Include show or rack prefix (GALA-SDI-01) when multiple shows share gear.
- Use consistent separator — dash vs slash — shop-wide.
Cable schedule columns
Typical fields: label ID, source device, source port, dest device, dest port, cable type, length, zone, notes.
Sort by zone or by load order — whichever matches your load-in sequence.
Export
Pro exports support tech pack and cable schedule formats — export after diagram freeze.
Re-export when rev changes; bump version in filename.
